Ritual Intention Guide

The power is not in the ritual. It’s in your presence within it.

Setting intention is not about control , it’s about alignment.
Ritual without intention is performance. Ritual with intention is a portal.

This guide is a simple, sacred framework to help you name what matters, anchor into your why, and open space for the unseen to meet you.

🌿 When to Use This Guide:

  • Before a ritual, ceremony, or spiritual practice

  • At the start of a new moon, new season, or new cycle

  • When you feel unclear, scattered, or disconnected

  • When preparing herbal medicine, sacred smoke, or plant-based offerings

🕯️ Step 1: Prepare the Field

Create space , inside and out.
Clear your physical area. Light a candle. Breathe slowly.
Let your body become aware that something sacred is about to begin.

“I am here. I am willing. I am listening.”

✍️ Step 2: Name Your Intention

Ask yourself:
☉ What am I ready to release?
☉ What am I inviting in?
☉ What do I most want this ritual to anchor?

Write your intention in a single sentence, or whisper it aloud.
Let it be simple, honest, and alive.

“I offer this moment to...”
“I am calling in...”
“I am honoring...”

🌬️ Step 3: Embody It

Breathe your intention into your ritual tools: your tea, oil, smoke, or sacred space. Touch each element with reverence. Let the energy of your words infuse your movements.

Stir clockwise. Place your hands on your heart. Trace the circle.
There is no right way, only
intentional presence.

🌕 Step 4: Close With Gratitude

Once the ritual is complete, give thanks, even if nothing felt perfect.
Gratitude closes the loop and seals the space with softness.

“Thank you, spirit. Thank you, body. Thank you, self.”

Notes:
Your intention is not a demand, it is an invitation.
It is not about forcing an outcome. It is about remembering who you are.
